Estimator Job Summary

Our company is currently in search of a qualified Estimator to join our growing interiors division.  Your primary responsibility will be to reviewing quotes, estimating labor and materials costs, and communicating financial cost and project timelines to our sales department.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to interact with suppliers, sales staff, and other company personnel in a manner that promotes customer retention and creates a positive work culture reflective of Phoenix's commitments as well as the capacity to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems and must possess the ability to foresee, react, and offer solutions.

Essential Functions

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
