Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remotely call on senior living communities within an assigned market to sell products.
  • Leverage technology with the goal of establishing and nurturing customer relationships by making connections with key decision makers.
  • Make sales presentations to multiple decision-makers over the phone, email, or GoToMeeting - leading to new account activations, product, and program sales.
  • Build relationships with staff - Presenting/selling new products and maintaining existing business.
  • "Close" business development opportunities.
  • Prepare bids and price quotes, submitting orders - following up on delivery times, addressing mis shipments, product exchanges, credit and invoice related inquiries.
  • Work interdepartmentally to expedite open orders.
  • Cold call with intent to develop new markets
  • Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
  • Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
