WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our company is currently in search of a qualified Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a top performing Credit and Collections team to perform crucial job duties which ensure successful A/R management. The crucial job duties include: cash application; new account set up and maintenance, and collections.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Collections

  • Identify changes in payment and communication trends which may indicate increased risk and communicate this to credit management.
  • Identify root cause for delinquency and implement plan to eliminate.
  • Responsible for proactively ensuring that invoices have been sent successfully and that the customer has scheduled timely payment.
  • Thoroughly note all collection activity and follow up on item until final resolution is complete.
  • Initiate collections of past due items via telephone and email in order to reduce past due balances.
  • Responsible for making calls prior to payment terms for assurance the needed paperwork has been received by the customer in order to make a timely payment.

Cash Application & Account Maintenance

  • Posting cash payments to AR.
  • New account set up, reactivations and maintenance.
  • Process credit cards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of A/R & B2B collection experience
  • Thorough understanding and competency of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Thorough understanding and competency of JD Edwards E1 software
  • Accuracy, organization and attention to detail are essential in this fast paced environment
